Robert (Bob) Heffner

Robert (Bob) Heffner (Msgt (Ret) USAF) is a distinguished military veteran and senior technology executive who brings a unique combination of Special Operations leadership and global technology management expertise to board service. Bob’s decorated military career included direct involvement in critical operations including Desert Storm, Just Cause, Urgent Fury, and Restore Democracy.

Throughout his military career, he received numerous commendations including; multiple Air Medals, the Aerial Achievement Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, and several campaign honors.

Following his distinguished military career, Mr. Heffner transitioned his leadership skills to

the private sector, most recently retiring after serving 23 years as Senior Director of Product

Certification & Quality Assurance at SiriusXM Satellite Radio.

With over 20 years of military service in the U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command

(AFSOC) and extensive experience leading cross-functional technical teams in the private

sector, Mr. Heffner offers exceptional strategic insight at the intersection of technology,

global operations, and risk management.

Bob and his wife Jane have one daughter and reside in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan where he

enjoys golf, sporting clays and volunteering for a variety of Veteran organizations.
